How to get longer hair ♡

It's officially summer and everyone wants to have long beautiful hair without the long wait! In this post i'll help you grow your hair a bit longer. Some of the things i've tried, and the others I haven't. So, if i've tried them i'll let you know how they have worked down below! Not everything works the same on everyone, so just keep that in mind. 

♥  Keep your hair safe ♥ 

Since its hot out, and we're all loving the pool, and the beach. One of the best ways to keep your hair long and healthy is to protect it. You can wear a swim cap when going to the pool, and a floppy hat when at the beach! The suns harsh rays aren't very good for your hair! Limit the amount of times you wash your hair. Every other day is the perfect amount. 

♥ Hair masks ♥

There are a lot of hair masks out there that you can use/make to help your hair grow longer. Coconut oil is really great to help add shine to your hair. It also helps split ends, and dry hair. Fresh orange juice (from an actual orange not the juice in a bottle) can help stimulate the hair follicles and help your hair grow longer as well! ♥ Cutting your hair... or not ♥

A lot of people say that cutting your hair every two months is a good thing to help your hair grow longer. But in my own personal experience that didn't work. I used to get my hair trimmed every three months and I would never see hair growth, at all! So I just stopped going. I would treat my hair with over night hair masks and when I didn't have those, I would leave conditioners in my hair over night and my hair would have no split ends anymore! I'm going on three years of not cutting my hair besides my bangs and my hair is longer than its ever been!

♥ Taking vitamins ♥

Taking vitamins can help your health, and grow your hair, and make your nails stronger! The most popular vitamin to take while trying to grow out your hair is Biotin. I've taken Biotin before, and it actually broke me out. I stopped taking it after I broke out so I didn't see any results but a lot of people say they do see results. Its a hit or miss if Biotin breaks you out or not. Some people tell me you can stop it from breaking you out by drinking a lot of water with the vitamins but i'm not sure if thats true or not. Vitamin E, C, B-1, and B-2 are also really amazing for your overall health, and hair growth.

♥ Eating healthy ♥

Eating protein is necessary for your hair to grow. Meats and eggs have tons of protein. If you are a vegetarian beans and lentils have protein as well. Also, eating healthy fats are necessary too. Some healthy (in moderation) fats are: Peanut butter, olives, avocados, and nuts.

♥ Other tips ♥

Don't wash your hair while wet (OH MY GOD I WROTE THIS ON ACCIDENT)
Don't brush your hair while wet.

Limit heat on your hair, and if you decide to use heat, use a protectant. 

Drink tons of water.

Avoid using hair spray.

Try using all natural products, they're better for you.

Don't expect fast results. Things take time.

3DS XL + Animal crossing new leaf review ♡

So recently I caved in and bought a Nintendo 3DS XL in pink/white. I also bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The bundle is out right now, but its pretty hard to find! Besides, I wanted the pink one, heh! I'm super addicted to playing and I can't stop ; - ; 

I love that theres a little hole on the side where you can put keychains! I put my little alpaca pouch on the side where I keep some of my other games ^o^

So when you turn on the 3DS this is what it looks like! I have animal crossing in mine, so thats why thats there. You can also download animal crossing on the 3DS if you don't want a physical copy. I'm not sure of the price difference, if any! I find that the battery lasts around five hours which is pretty good, to me at least.

Heres the bottom screen, this is the touch screen one. Playing animal crossing this is where you can see the items you're holding and see the map!

And the top screen! Heres the camera, the 3D option, and more! This screen is a lot better quality than the touch screen one. Its also larger. 

So here are some screen shots from animal crossing! This is my garden i'm working on! ^o^ I also got the QR code for my outfit off tumblr. I'll share some of my favorites at the end of this post. If you want to get the QR code machine you need to talk to both of the able sisters, stable in particular every day for 10 days until she gives you the machine. You can do this in one day by changing the date on your 3DS!

Here are some of my fruit trees! I'm trying to build a forest of yummy fruit trees! Its /kind/ of working. 

Here are some more of the views. This is up by the stores. You cant really build much on this side of the town.

Heres the museum! When you dig up things, you can take them here and have them assessed, and you can donate them!

Heres my lame house, I haven't really done much to it. I will soon though! It costs 99,000 bells to pay off your loan and I just did that so yay.

To play with your friends you need to go to your towns train station and talk to the monkey! You can open the gate to let people into your town, or go take the train to visit some of your friends.

I recently got the island, this was my first time going actually!

You can bring your friends over here, and play a lot of really fun minigames with them. I played them with one of my followers and they were fun! If you guys get this game be sure to let me know so we can all play together!

I give the 3DS a 5 out of 5 because during E3 I loved the games that were coming out this year. I'm really excited for pokemon! Also, I was glad they didn't announce a new handheld. Now I wont be outdated!

Animal crossing New leaf: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ / ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I cannot say enough amazing things about this game. I would give it a million little hearts if I could. Eveything about it is amazing! If you've been thinking about getting it, you really should. We can play together!

Lulus.com review ♡

I bought this beautiful white lace dress from Lulus.com  a couple of days ago and it only took three days to get here! Its absolutely stunning and looks a lot better in person than it did online. I was scared it was going to be too short on me because I have a long torso and short little legs, but its perfect! The only complaint I have is that its really, REALLY sheer! I also don't know what bra i'll wear with it because of the open back, semi open front by the bow. I also need to find a way to wear it so it isn't sheer. So if you have any suggestions, leave them in the comments please!

Dolly wink liquid eyeliner review ♡

I've tried the dolly wink pencil eyeliner before, and I hated it! It smudged and never stayed in its place. But on my birthday at disneyland alisha showed me her liquid eyeliner and I wanted to try it out for myself! I ordered this off ebay for $14.50. They do sell it in stores near me, but its always super over priced!

The packaging is super cute and I don't see anything wrong with it at all. It has a little ball in there or something so when you shake it, it makes a sound. The top clicks on perfectly as well. So there shouldn't be any drying out.

This is the tip! its felt, and not the poopy kind that strings off and leaves your eyeliner uneven. The color I got was black, and it is truly black! 

And heres a swatch of the eyeliner itself! You can make it thin, or thick all in one swipe! The color is really pigmented for one swipe so you wont have to waste product and go over it again to make it truly black. I rubbed over my hand after swatching my hand and it didn't come off at all. But its not water proof. I ran it under water while lightly rubbing and it came off pretty quickly. Which isn't a problem for me at all.

I give this product a 4 out of 5 because the packing is super cute! The eyeliner is long lasting, and cheap. It would be perfect to make cat eyes/winged liner with because of its fine point. I definitely will repurchase this!
